DSL Extreme DSL Internet Review - Review on DSL Extreme's DSL Internet service

Reviewer: Would Not Recommend Now.

Pros:

Cost. Tech Support department

Cons:

12 month contract with $250 early termination fee. (You can port your service if you move, or to a friend, but the 12 month clock starts all over. AND the 12 month period starts over if you upgrade or downgrade your service.) Expensive modem cost.

Other Thoughts:

Liked the service when I signed on back in 2007. The company has become greedy with their termination policy and they hold their policy in higher regard than customer service. Would have recommended a few years ago. Not now. Tech support was always good though. Mid-cost speed package not much faster than basic.
